Scott Starkey

About Us

Agency founder Scott Starkey serves as the lead strategist on all accounts, supported by his longtime network of industry experts who have the experience and connections you need.

Starkey served for eight years as Chief Communications Officer for the Irvine Company, leading corporate communications, public affairs, and community relations for one of America’s most respected master planners and developers.

As a consultant, Starkey served as a lead advisor to Chevron on several initiatives, including the “Path Forward Plan,” which secured complex development approvals for its West Coyote Hills property. This plan simultaneously allowed environmental groups to purchase the land at fair market value, raising over $100 million for site acquisition. Other prominent clients have included Brookfield, Chapman University, Newhall Land, and Santa Margarita Water District.

Before his career in public relations, Starkey was selected by the Seattle Mariners as a left-handed pitcher in the 1996 professional baseball draft.
